Trump's Approval Rating Up for Good Reasons

I recently received this list of rants and praises  in  an email from an old friend who is retired from a job at the Pentagon:

Trump sounds more and more like Reagan every day.

I'd settle for half the items on the 13 item wish list.

Kissinger's take on Trump
Kissinger is now 94 years old.  Recently, Henry Kissinger did an interview and said very amazing things regarding President Trump. He starts with:

"Donald Trump is a phenomenon that foreign countries haven't seen before!"The former Secretary of State Henry Kissinger gives us a new understanding of President Donald Trump's foreign policy and predicts its success:
"Liberals and all those who favor (Hillary) Clinton will never admit it.

"They will never admit that he is the one true leader.  The man is doing changes like never before and does all of it for the sake of this nation's people.

After eight years of tyranny, we finally see a difference."

Kissinger knows it and he continues with:

"Every country now has to consider two things:

One, their perception that the previous president, or the outgoing president, basically withdrew America from international politics, so that they had to make their own assessments of their necessities.

"And secondly, that there is a new president who's asking a lot of unfamiliar questions.  And because of the combination of the partial vacuum and the new questions, one could imagine that something remarkable and new emerges out of it."

Then Kissinger puts it bluntly: "Trump puts America and its people first.  This is why people love him and this is why he will remain in charge for so long.  There is not a single thing wrong with him and people need to open their eyes"  When he boasts that he has a "bigger red button" than Kim Jung Un does, he so transcends the mealy-mouthed rhetoric of the past, thereby forcing a new recognition of American power.

Kissinger once wrote:

"The weak grow strong by effrontery – The strong grow weak through inhibition!"  No sentence better captures the U.S.-North Korea relationship.

Trump is discarding the inhibitions and calling the bluff on North Korea's effrontery:

His point is that the contrast of American retreat under Obama and its new assertion of power under Trump creates a new dynamic that every one of our allies and of our enemies must consider.

Our allies grew complacent with Obama's passivity and now are fearful due to Trump's activism.  And they must balance the two in developing their policies:

They realize that the old assumptions, catalyzed by Bush 43's preoccupation with Iraq and Obama's refusal to lead are obsolete.  So, Trump is forcing a new calculus with a new power behind American interests.  Those — here and abroad — who rode the old apple cart worry about it being toppled.

But, as Kissinger so boldly stated:

"Trump is the one true leader in world affairs and he is forcing policy changes that put America first!“

This is the most accurate statement of what the American Citizens who live outside of the swamp want and expect from their government.  I like the list of 13 things that I, as a senior American citizen, want.  Trump is at least talking about issues that most Americans are concerned about.

My mantra about Trump is this:

Truthfully, we are in agreement with most of what he says.  We are getting older and our tickers aren't what they used to be, but what matters is that he covers most of the 13 things we as seniors want, at least I do for sure:

1.  Hillary:  held accountable for her previous wrongs!

2.  Put "GOD" back in America!

3.  Borders:  Closed or tightly guarded!

4.  Congress:  On the same retirement and healthcare plans as everybody else.

5.  Congress:  Obey its own laws NOW!

6.  Language:  English!

7.  Culture:  Constitution and the Bill of Rights!

8.  Drug-Free:  Mandatory Drug Screening before and during Welfare!

9.  Freebies:  NONE to Non-Citizens!

10.  Budget:  Balance the damn thing!

11.  Foreign Countries:  Stop giving them our money!  Charge them for our help!  We need it here.

12.  Term limits for congress

And most of all.

13. “RESPECT OUR MILITARY AND OUR FLAG AND OUR LAW ENFORCEMENT!"

We the people are coming!

Only 86% will send this on.  Should be 100%

Occupy the Bastille

"Tell me again. Why are we walking around with these signs?"

The basic desire of the Occupy movement is to establish a Participatory democracy which is a process that emphasizes the broad participation of constituents in the actions and operation of the political system. The protestors feel the current system is an Oligarchy which is the name given to a system which is led by the elite and the rich.

 The origin of the current Occupy movement in the U.S. can be traced back to the Arab Spring which began with demonstrators in Tunisia and spread across the Arab world. The demonstrations in Cairo’s Tahrir Square seemed to have been given the most coverage by the news media and probably encouraged the actions of Spanish Indignants movement. The Canadian anti-consumerist publication know as Adbusters suggested that numerous simultaneous protests throughout North America could and should be organized with the use of the internet social networks such as Facebook, which are accessible through cell phones.

 Advances in communication technology has placed  powerful tools in the hands of the people and, as with any other tool or weapon, the merits or faults of modern information access on the  New World Order have yet to be determined.

 I would venture to say that most folks, who are defined as Conservatives by the current sociopolitical system of political pigeon holing, think that an overhaul of our system of government and financial system will require a violent rebellion. Many of these people began stock piling weapons and provisions during the Y2K frenzy. After the 21^st century began without disaster, many Americans became motivated to prepare for survival through because of fears generated by economic instability brought about by the Government’s mismanagement of the nation’s monetary resources.

 The folks who have come to be known as Liberals or Progressives have subscribed to the belief that change can be brought about through public demonstrations which will encourage a shift control of government closer to those being governed. This assumption is reminiscent of concepts such as “States Right” and other means of making the rules closer to home.

 If any major changes come about it may be through a combination of stratagem and unity of the above named camps and will need to include more emphasis on election by popular vote rather than the abstract notions like the Electoral College.

 Some people feel that history repeats itself and that the US has just about ran its course as far as longevity of a nation goes. Hopefully, however, the people won’t have to resort to revolution and can just “storm the Bastille” in order to get the country back on track.

No News is Good News

Recently an employee of the USDA was removed from office, apologized to and returned to her previous job in a matter of days. This incident, like most anything else that has happened in the last couple of years, caused a racial uproar. Democrats and Republicans were pointing fingers at one another. Liberals/progressives* blamed conservatives because the decision to remove this person from office was based on information obtained from a YouTube broadcast that was put online by a republican.

It seems odd to me that such drastic measures were taken based on an amateur’s contribution to a web site meant to be used for entertainment. That’s like watching a Michael Moore movie and thinking that it is a documentary based on something more than the ravings of a money hungry radical.

Due to the lack of professional, unbiased, fact based reporting the news media has become nothing more than distributors of emotional crap. So now people in high government positions are making life changing decisions based on stuff they see on YouTube. These bureaucrats are so busy surfing the web that they don’t even have time to ask a few questions before ending the career of other government employees.

I think it’s time that so called journalists are held accountable for their actions. Maybe then they would quit running around starting racially charged conflicts.

*David Sirota of The Huffington Post explains the difference: “It seems to me that traditional "liberals" in our current parlance are those who focus on using taxpayer money to help better society. "Progressives" are those who focus on using government power to make large institutions play by a set of rules.”

Refreshing Perspective

 I have often thought that New Zealand would be a great place to live so I started checking into the feasibility of an extended visit there. The facts that I uncovered have given me doubt that I can even qualify for a visa that will allow me to stay there more than 28 days.

 I guess the UN has overlooked New Zealand in their crusade to distribute wealth and make every country like the ones that are now considered “third world”. Or maybe the people of New Zealand have decided to exercise their rights as a sovereign state and pass laws that will not only preserve their quality of life but actually improve it. Take a look at this excerpt from a summary of that backward country’s immigration law:

 Parliament passed a new Immigration Act into law in 1987. This would end the preference for migrants from Britain, Europe or Northern America based on their race, and instead classify migrants on their skills, personal qualities, and potential contribution to New Zealand economy and society.

 Yes, it certainly appears that the folks under the Down Under actually think that they can make laws and not worry about what the rest of the world thinks.. Is that even legal?

History and Political Correctness

Political correctness has no place in the process of recording history. If one assumes that the purpose of studying of history is to learn from the past then the premise that we can learn from and gain wisdom from the actions and events that occurred in the past hinges on the fact that the information is recorded correctly and is the truth.

If we concern ourselves with Political Correctness then it is necessary to modify words and take emphasis away form certain true events which may be offensive to certain groups of people.

Simply stated, we can not learn from history unless it is true. It is a total waste of time to teach lies or modified truths. The only purpose served by teaching distorted truths is to indoctrinate our youth and consequently mold generations into pawns of a predetermined agenda or ideology. Political Correctness is nothing more than Marxism translated from economic to cultural terms and teaches, among other fallacies, that all people are entitled to respect without having to earn it.

It would do each history student well to read some text books or other accounts of the past that were published before the 1960’s. Those books were written when Americans enjoyed freedom of speech and before terms like gay rights, sexist, homophobic or racist began to be used to describe anyone who dared not subscribe to rewritten history or use the language of the times.

I recently had a conversation with a gentleman from Australia. I listened to his opinions and comments on several current events. There were a few other Americans that overheard what was said and were shocked at some of the things he said. I, on the other hand, was saddened by the possibility that as long as I live in the United States, I’ll may never enjoy freedom of speech again.

Dog and Pony Show

Many Americans have developed a thirst, like never before, for genuine knowledge and the truth. Unfortunately the light of reality has been bent by the prism of recorded history. The truths have been divided and color coded so that they can easily be taken from context, by those claiming to be scholars, then projected in the way that best meets their agendas.In the fantasy world of academia, young people are indoctrinated by being required to learn from text books written by the professors who teach the classes. In this manner liberal fanatics are allowed to represent their own personal agendas to students as pertinent facts that need to be learned in order to pass the classes.The fruits of our traditional strengths are rotting from the inside out making the disease more difficult detect and identify. If the cart of hard won American strengths were being overturned openly then the perpetrators could be easily identified but the values and beliefs of our young people are being perverted by the mass media and the teachers in our universities. These are two institutions that have made almost untouchable by virtue of their own power.Who is at the heart of this ruse? Is there some group that is determined to confuse us and weaken our core values?
The guiltiest of these wolves in lambs’ clothing are the educators charged with the responsibility of teaching our children the laws of nature through the sciences and the wisdom of the past through history. If the so called knowledge being developed is built on an ever shifting foundation flawed with un-truths then the building blocks of our future are sure to be fractured.. If the realization that hard work and sacrifices are required to attain greatness is being replaced by the cancerous myth of entitlement then all of the fundamentals of productivity are being violated and we will destroy ourselves.The cultures of needy groups grown in the protection of our military strength have already begun to fight among themselves over the spoils of what has been amassed in the past. On nearly a weekly basis, our economy and society are being patched by one type of flimsy bandage or another. Ever one of these bogus fixes has done nothing but distribute billions of dollars among rich executives as unemployment continues to rise and the tax base continues to diminish compounding the real problems.This absurd behavior is being promoted by the people with the highest levels of education and the least understanding of how sacrifice and hard work made this country great. We need to find out who is behind this fiasco that has reigned over our land during the past months, whether it is the Bilderbergs, Skull and Bones or whoever, and put them out of power. The tide needs to be turned back in the direction of rational action as soon as possible. If the cause of the chaos can’t be determined quickly then the symptoms need to be treated. Specifically, we need to contact the congress people that represent us and let them know that they will be replaced soon. That is the way political change has been affected in the past. Hopefuly the hordes of voters that were groomed in the four year marathon campaign will be stunned by the "change" they have brought about and stay in their own area of expertise and away from the polls.

Exploiting Apaches for Profit

I just read an article written in the June 2009 issue of 'Cowboys and Indians' magazine by Kathy Wise concerning Apache Skateboards.
It seems rather odd that none of the Indians in the photographs are smiling. I have been around Mescalero Apaches for over a half century and they smile a lot. Same goes for the various Pueblo Indians I’ve known in New Mexico .
They have a lot to smile about because they know how lucky they are to have a choice between the culture of the red man and that of the white man. They also get preferential treatment should they choose get a college education and get money from the U.S. Government each month whether they work or not.
Maybe the people of San Carlos are different than other Indians but I doubt it
There was a statement made about Miles being concerned about “owning the new imagery without being culturally hijacked”. The imagery shown in the magazine isn’t new. It appears to be a combination of ‘70’s era biker graffiti, amateur reproductions of old photos of Geronimo, and some designs similar to those found on Mimbres pottery
The only thing that has happened here is that an Apache emulated some material that he dredged up and modified slightly. The "new" art then instantly becomes images of Apache culture by a writer who is trying to portray an indigenous group of Americans as perpetual victims.
Unless Mr. Miles and his tribe are very naïve, which I strongly doubt, they were most likely embarrassed or even angered that this elitist publication couldn’t find some more worthy achievements than skate boards to merit an entire article,
Shame on you Kathy Wise.
